Robert J. Sclabassi, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Sclabassi, (click here for CV) is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairs the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. He has an extensive background in business, research and medicine. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and has done post-graduate training at UCLA. Dr. Sclabassi is also Medical Director of Clinical Neurophysiological Services, LLC.

Dr. Sclabassi has been on the faculties of the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of California at Los Angeles. He has published over 370 refereed papers, 55 book chapters, 200 conference abstracts and has given over 200 invited presentations. He holds 15 patents. He has also served on numerous advisory committees for the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation and National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Dr. Sclabassi has previously worked for TRW Systems Group, focused on new technology development, was a founder of LimTech, Inc., and serves as a consultant to many medical device companies. He was an early worker in the use of telemedicine applied to neurophysiology and has twice received recognition from the Computerworld Smithsonian Awards for the development of a Real-Time Intraoperative Monitoring System. This same technology was described in Liberation Management (Tom Peters) as the wave of the future. The rights to this technology were obtained from the University of Pittsburgh under the name NeuroNet® and has formed the backbone of CDI’s evolving technology. Currently, Dr. Sclabassi serves on the Boards of Computational Diagnostics, Inc., Cerebroscope, Decision Resources, Inc.,Pittsburgh Opera, and is a Trustee of LMU/LA.

Dr. Sclabassi is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Ohio and New Mexico (Telemedicine) and electrical engineering in California.

 

Sharon E. Enos, Ph.D., President and Chief Financial Officer (Acting)

Dr. Enos is the President and Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc.  She has been successful in business management, academics and high-tech businesses.  She is a Phi Kappa Phi graduate of CMU and has received an MEd, MSW and a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh.  She has worked as a financial manager at Edward Traubner & Co, Inc., Product Manager for Air Way Products at Actronics, Inc., a faculty member in the School of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Director for the American Heart Association.  Under her leadership the company has developed three versions of the NeuroNet® system, grown from providing services at three hospitals to over thirty hospitals, and has been awarded several SBIR and STTR grants from the NIH and TACTRC. Dr. Enos has also served on the board of the Opera Theater of Pittsburgh.

 

Lisa Zottola, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer (Acting)

Ms. Zottola is the Chief Operating Officer, Acting Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. Ms. Zottola has a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.  Ms. Zottola has worked both in the Center for Endocrinology and the Center for Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Pittsburgh. Since joining CDI, besides providing clinical services, Ms. Zottola has held multiple positions of increasing responsibility including FDA Officer, Director of Quality Control and Director of Clinical Services. Ms. Zottola is focused on improving the operational effectiveness and efficiency of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. and can usually be found in the operating room working with our clients to provide the highest quality service to their patients.

Ms. Zottola has a CNIM certificate.

 

Ye Vivian Liang, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Liang (click here for CV) is the Chief Clinical Officer and a member of the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. and Associate Medical Director of Clinical Neurophysiological Services, LLC.  Dr. Liang is a board certified Neurologist and Neurophysiologist.  She trained in Neurology at Allegheny General Hospital and completed a Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  She earned her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees and also did her residency in Ophthalmology in China.  She worked in retinal biology research in Copenhagen, Denmark and later worked on molecular neurobiology research at the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Liang is also an Attending Neurologist at Allegheny General and Beaver Regional Hospitals.

She is licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.

 

Rafael E. Herrera, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Herrera is the Chief Technology Officer and a member of the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. Mr. Herrera is responsible for all engineering and technical work within Computational Diagnostics, Inc. including the development and manufacture of the NeuroNet System products and the Remote Monitoring System products.  He also manages the support and maintenance activities for all deployed NeuroNet systems. Mr. Herrera has extensive experience in medical device regulatory compliance activities. He is also experienced in managing the development, design and manufacture of software and hardware medical device products. Mr. Herrera has a BSEE degree from Peru and a MSEE degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is completing a PhD in electrical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Vince Kytka, Chief Quality and Production Officer

Mr. Kytka is the Chief Quality and Production Officer and a member of the Executive Management Council of Computational Diagnostics, Inc. Mr. Kytka is responsible for quality systems management, regulatory compliance, and the manufacture of all NeuroNet System products at Computational Diagnostics, Inc. Mr. Kytka has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, medical device production, supply chain management and the development of ISO 13485 compliant quality management systems. He is also experienced in managing compliance to electrical safety standards, medical device product launches and sales channel management. Mr. Kytka has B.S. degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
